Terms of use

These are the rules for using Star Lore. By creating an account or using the site you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site. Questions: the site owner (a contact address has not been added yet).

Your account

Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Give us a real email address. You can delete your account at any time from the Account page.

Your content

The stories, descriptions, designs and photos you put into Star Lore are yours. You give us permission to store them, process them, and show them back to you, which is what the site needs in order to work, including sending the text needed for an AI request to our AI providers when you ask for one. Only upload photos and write text that you have the right to use.

AI results

Ideas, sketches and drawings made by AI are suggestions. They may be imperfect or unexpected, and similar results can be produced for other people. Please check your poster carefully before you print it. There are daily limits on how much AI each account can use, and we may change them.

What not to do

• Don’t break the law, or upload content that is illegal or that you have no right to use.
• Don’t try to get into other people’s accounts or data, or to disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer the site.
• Don’t use automated tools to create accounts or to get around the usage limits.

We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.

Printing

Star Lore gives you a print-ready PDF. Printing, framing and anything you order from a print shop is between you and that shop. Colors on paper can differ from the screen.

The service as it is

We do our best to keep Star Lore working and your posters safe, but the site is provided “as is”, without promises that it will always be available or free of mistakes. We recommend using “Save project file” in the editor now and then to keep your own backup. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost data, lost profits, or indirect damages from using the site.

Changes

We may update these terms. If the change matters, we will update the date at the top. Using the site after that means you accept the new terms.
